Zeros are Something
The name of the game is “Zero’s created with the use of double and triple yarn overs in this wrap from start to finish. Begin with a taper at each end ( tassels are optional ). Widen out with the body pattern, 3 repeats of an eyelet circle, the center being a zero from 2 yo’s. Bring on the pointed edge pattern, a slightly different eyelet pattern, the zero center created with the use of 3 yo’s. This one will keep you busy, but oh…….what a wonderful and intricate design.
Knit in one piece, with a 48 row repeat, adjusting length is possible.
Materials needed include #7, 4.5 mm Knitting Needles, 3 skeins, 800 yds. Cascades Longwood Sport Weight yarn, 12 wpi, and 2 markers.
Pattern is entirely in both row by row written and charted instructions. The result being a 15 page document. Don’t need the written……then just print pages 1,2,4,7,10,13,15 and there you have 7 pages of charts only.
Blocking is necessary. I wet block then pinned with the relaxed finished size 17” by 83” not including the tassels. For tutorial on adding the tassels visit my blog, address is in the pattern.
