Crochet Coasters in a zesty colour combination. The pattern is easy and suitable for a beginner that is wanting to move on to using some more stitches. I included some helpful photo instructions if you need them. They would make great little gifts for Teachers at the end of school term. You could tie a ribbon around the coasters for the finishing touch.

Materials

Small amounts of Cotton DK weight Yarn in your chosen colours. I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK: 100% Cotton,50g
3.5mm Crochet Hook
Yarn Needle to weave in threads

Size
Coasters are approx. 5.75” 15cm in diameter when using the suggested yarn weight and hook. You could use a heavier weight yarn and matching hook to make larger motifs.

Tension is not important for this pattern but using a smaller than recommended hook, makes the coaster more firm
You will change colour every row
