Instructions are given for the cardigan in three sizes from birth to 12 months and for the rompers in four sizes from birth to 12 months. The rompers are knitted bottom up. The back and front are worked to the top of the leg openings as separate pieces and are joined to knit the body in one piece. The front and back are then worked separately to form the front and back bib sections. Once the side seam is completed, stitches are picked up around the leg openings to work the leg borders. The cardigan has minimal shaping. Instructions are provided for the bonnet from birth to 2 years. This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter.
