“Zig Zag Honeycombs” is a classic rectangular wrap and is knitted flat from one short side to the other. The main patterns are a mix of honeycombs which were created through left and right crosses and twisted stitches.The wrap is worked with two threads at the same time (fingering + lace) but can also be knitted with one thread in fingering or sport weight.
The following techniques are included: German Twisted Cast On, Icelandic Bind-Off, honeycomb pattern (twisted stitches) and a lot of k1tbl and p1tbl. ;-)

YARN
Note: Yarn amounts given are based on average requirements and are approximate.
286 g / 1201 m / 1313 yrd of a Fingering Weight yarn
+ 98 g / 1176 m / 1286 yrd of a Lace Weight yarn (both threads were held together)

NEEDLES
Note: The needle size is a recommendation. A gauge swatch must be made to determine the appropriate needle size.
US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles with at least 32” / 80 cm cable

“Zig Zag Honeycombs” ist ein klassisches rechteckiges Tuch, das von einer kurzen Seite zur anderen in Hin- und Rückreihen gestrickt wird. Das Hauptmuster ist eine Mischung aus Honigwaben, die durch linke und rechte Verkreuzungen entstehen und verschränkten Maschen. Das Tuch wird mit zwei Fäden gleichzeitig gestrickt (Fingering + Lace), kann aber auch mit einem Faden in Fingering- oder Sportweight Stärke gestrickt werden.

286 g / 1201 m von einem Garn mit einer LL von 200 - 240 m auf 50 g (Super Fine bzw. Fingering weight)
+ 98 g / 1176 m von einem Garn mit einer LL von 300 - 400 m auf 50 g (Lace)
