Zig Zag Shells Blanket
Zig Zag Shells Blanket Pattern. This blanket is so fun to make!
The pattern’s two-row repeat makes it very easy to memorize.
Enjoyable, relaxing, and rhythmic project.
What you get:
I want you to succeed in making this blanket and Love It.
The PDF includes a detailed 12-page tutorial with 45 step-by-step photos to walk you through and show you exactly where to place your hook and stitch. The photos are very helpful for a visual learner to make sure the stitch pattern looks right. Tips are given throughout. It reads like a friend explaining how to make the blanket.
Instructions are also given for the border.
Pattern repeat is included so that it can be made virtually any size.
The stitches used in this pattern are Chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and 5 double crochet together (5dctog), which is explained how to do.
The pattern is written in US terms.
A chart is included in the pattern for UK/AUS, including crochet terms, yarn weights, and hook sizes.
The photo tutorial can be viewed on your monitor or printed off.
What is Unique/Special about my patterns:
You can Make it any Size!
There are step-by-step photos, just like we are making the blanket together.
I am here to help.
If you are like me, you choose a blanket by the stitch/pattern first and not the size. Did you ever see a blanket you really Love but the pattern is for a baby blanket? Or it is baby blanket size, and you want to make a large afghan. Not a problem here. Every one of my patterns includes the pattern repeat so that you can make it ANY size. You can even make a scarf.
The Turquoise, White, and Gray Blanket measures 32” wide x 48” long (81 cm x 121 cm). It was made with Big Twist Rainbow Classic Yarn, a bulky weight yarn. I used one full skein of white (11 oz. /312g) and one-half skein of Turquoise and grey. I used a size “J-10/6.0mm” Hook.
