About the Pattern:
The Zig-Zag socks are a top down sock utilizing techniques of lacework and a yarn-over heel for a cute and clean look.
Sizing:
5 sizes - 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) for a foot circumference of 8.5 (9, 9.5, 10, 10.5) inches / 21.5 (23, 24, 25.5, 26.5) and sock circumference of 7 (7.5, 8, 8.5, 9) inches / 17.5 (19, 20.5, 21.5, 23) cm
Materials:
211 (228, 252, 284, 312) yards / 193 (209, 231, 260, 286) meters Cascade Yarns Heritage Sock or other fingering weight yarn
5 Locking stitch markers
US 2.0/2.75mm DPNs or circulars
US 1.5/2.5mm DPNs or circulars
Preferred blocking supplies
Gauge:
30 sts x 40 rows
In Stockinette on US 2 / 2.75mm
Techniques:
Italian/Tubular Cast On
1x1 Ribbing
Lacework - ssk, k2tog, yo, reading lace charts
Heel Turn - yo short row explained in pattern
