I am constantly cutting up old clothing and reconstructing or
repurposing them. I enjoy finding new uses for hideous or tired objects. This “deconstructed” appearance creeps into my knitting from time to time, and this scarf is a result of that. In designing it, I wanted something warm, reversible, and fashionable. Dropped stitches have always been a favorite design feature of mine, and I love how the solid stripes in the design zig and zag through the work, accentuating the slant of the dropped stitches.
