This is an overlay mosaic pattern, written in both UK and US terms. There is also a Dutch version in Dutch terms.

There are charts for a dark main colour and light contrast colour and there are charts for a light main colour and dark contrast colour.

Originally designed as a table runner, I decided to turn it into a puppy receiving blanket, after realising we don’t use table runners in our home.

You can use this rectangular design for a variety of projects, a blanket, a scarf, a table runner.

You can easily adjust the size of your project by making more repeats either horizontally, vertically, or both!

This is a mosaic crochet pattern, where you will work on the right side only. You switch between the main colour and the contrast colour with every row. This pattern consists of charts, and a detailed explanation of mosaic crochet, including a photo tutorial. There is also a sample pattern that can be used as a coaster.

I recommend making this sample, so you can determine your gauge and see which hook size works best. My gauge is 24 stitches and 24 rows to get 10 cm x 10 cm.

I used Hobby Cotton Kings Sultan in two contrasting colours and a 2,5 mm hook. I used about 3/4 of the main colour and 2/3 of the contrast colour.

Be aware - mosaic crochet can be very addictive!

Dit is een patroon voor mozaïekhaken in Nederlandse termen. Er is ook een UK en een US versie.

Er zijn diagrammen voor een donkere hoofdkleur met een lichte contrastkleur en voor een lichte hoofdkleur met een donkere contrastkleur.

Eigenlijk ontworpen als tafelloper, maar die gebruiken we uiteindelijk toch niet hier in huis. Nu doet het dus dienst als een (honden)dekentje.

Dit rechthoekige ontwerp kan voor van alles gebruikt worden: een deken, sjaal, een tafelloper.

De grootte kan makkelijk aangepast worden door horizontale en/of verticale herhalingen.

Dit is een patroon voor mozïekhaken, waarbij je alleen aan de goede kant werkt. Je wisselt tussen de hoofdkleur en de contrastkleur na elke toer.

Het patroon bestaat uit diagrammen en een uitgebreide uitleg van mozaïekhaken met veel foto’s.

Er is ook een patroon voor een proeflapje, dat als onderzetter gebruikt kan worden.

Ik raad aan om dit proeflapje te maken, zodat je de gauge en de grootte van je haaknaald kunt bepalen. Ik kreeg 10 cm x 10 cm met 24 steken en 24 toeren.

Ik heb Hobbii Cotton Kings Sultan gebruikt in 2 contrasterende kleuren, ongeveer 3/4 van de blauwe en 2/3 van de gele kleur. Ik heb haaknaald 2,5 cm gebruikt.

Pas op, mozaïekhaken is zeer verslavend!
