ZigZag
Introducing ZigZag!
ZigZag is an offset rib pattern, resulting in a lovely textured hat. Knit in the round, using just a combination of knit and purl stitches to create the pattern, this pattern is great for all levels. Knit with a ribbed edge or begin knitting the ZigZag pattern immediately; both ways will give
you a lovely outcome and are included in the pattern.
Both written and charted instructions are included for convenience; each on its own page for printing ease.
Special thanks to Ellen Kapusniak for testing and editing this pattern!
Use DK weight yarn or light worsted weight yarn, whichever allows you to achieve gauge. The hats featured in the pattern pages used Caron Simply Soft and I Love This Yarn, Caron Simply Soft worked great as it is light worsted. The I Love This Yarn came out a bit big.
Gauge: 19 sts & 28 rows in 4x4in square (10cm square) stocking stitch; 21 sts & 35 rows in 4x4in ZigZag pattern
Sizes: Child, Small Adult/Teen, Medium Adult, Large Adult
Special notes are included in the pattern, as well as a space for you to jot down any notes or reminders for when you would like to make ZigZag again.
