A long clutch-shaped bag, with a loop end handle. (It would be good for storing knitting needles in!) Designed to be knit in a variegated yarn to show off the colors in a zigzag pattern naturally across the piece. To do this, the designer calls for adjusting the cast-on as necessary, and has an explanation on how to do this. This may vary the size of the bag, however, so be warned. It is a companion piece to the other Zigzag bags in the book. Also, the pattern calls for a 24” long circular needle, size US7/4.5mm or size to obtain gauge.
