ZIGZAG is a lace cardigan of simple construction, ideal for spring or autumn days. Relaxed pattern with long sleeves, round neck, and thin borders in garter stitch. Optional side splits ensure comfortable fit at the hip. It is knitted flat, the body in one piece. Only the sleeves are seamed.
The zigzag lace stitch pattern is effective and very easy to follow, ideal for lace fans, and fits perfectly with this traditional cardigan, suitable for all occasions.
Nine adult sizes from X-small (chest 71-76 cm) to X-5 (152-157 cm): a cm/stitches table is provided. Calculated with a classic fit, with a positive ease between 9 and 16 cm.
Any yarn in fingering weigh (14 WPI) can be used. I used Moody Hues Sock Matician by Skeinz (New Zealand), which is a 4 ply recycled natural fibre yarn with possum, 7 (x 50 g) skeins for X-small, 16 (x 50 g) skeins for X-5
