This large shawl/wrap/shlanket is cozy and colourful. Because it is knit using a DK weight yarn it is fairly quick to knit and perfect to cozy up in during the cool Autumn and Winter days and nights. It has a very interesting zigzag pattern that is accomplished with simple lace and garter stitch. It is very intuitive and easy to follow. If you are ready for the next steps in shawl knitting this knit would be great for you. It is a triangular shawl knit from the bottom up.

Intermediate Level
Yarn:
(West Coast Colour: Fits of Giggles too)

Small size: Four skeins of dk weight yarn. 996 meters (1089.24 yards)

Medium size: Six skeins of dk weight yarn. 1494 meters (1634 yards)

Large size: Eight skeins of dk weight yarn. 1992 meters (2178 yards)

as this is a shawl you can use any weight yarn you like, dk and fingering work best for the needle size used, choosing fingering weight yarn will give you a lighter shawl with more drape and the dk weight a denser fabric that you can cozy into. Don’t let yarn weight restrict your creativity with this fun easy to knit piece you will love to add to your wardrobe.**
