ZigZag Socks
The socks are made in a mosaic technique. It means you knit each row with only one thread. You get two-colored socks, but the knitting technique is rather simple, unlike jacquard. You always knit with only one thread per row and the pattern is made by slip stitches.
The socks have no gusset.
Size: Pattern is made to fit a foot 9”/23 sm and 8”/20 cm in circumference at the ankle.
Yarn: I used Pehorka Sheep Wool Worsted Yarn, colors 251 and 530. You can use any worsted yarn in contrasting colors.
Needles are 3mm and 2,5 mm. I used double pointed needles but you can knit using any technique you like. The socks are knitted from top down.
