This sock pattern has 64 stitches around on both the leg and the foot; the cable pattern is one long pattern done once on the leg (both back and front) and once on the foot. The heel is a flap construction. The right and left socks are identical. I have written the pattern using terminology for two circulars or magic loop techniques; the cable pattern is 30 stitches across and so using DPNs would require moving stitches between them, but it is certainly possible.

You will undoubtedly have yarn left over if you use a standard 100 gram ball of sock yarn (or two 50 gram balls).
