Zigzagging Path
The shortest path between two points is a straight line … but that doesn’t mean it’s the most fun! Zigzagging mosaics interspersed with simple garter stitch draw the eye from one color to the next in this easy mosaic knit design.
The original sample is worked with a Miss Babs Yowza Mini Festive Set, using 100 yards each of 12 colors, but the pattern can easily be adapted to any number of colors. Use 6 colors twice each; alternate one main color with 6 contrasts, knit in a highly contrasting variegated and solid … the sky’s the limit, so long as there is enough contrast between each color and the color next to it!
Yarn
