15g is all you need for this, plus a little felt. I used cotton Dk for this one, but have made others with other yarns. size will vary according to yarns and needle sizes used.
This could be knitted easily in the round. Just treat every row as a knit row.

I have updated the pattern as I had missed out the last but one row, which should have been K across row, also to include a diagram of the face.

I was originally offering this pattern for free, but sadly have been notified that it is being offered for sale on ebay.
