Zinnia Market Bag
by Emily Bittel
This pattern is
available for free.
This is my second flower-inspired market bag that starts with the creation of a flower on the bottom and works up into an open mesh market bag. A few rows of the mesh include little picots peeking between the mesh for added interest to the body of the bag.
When laying flat, this bag is about 12” long by 12” wide. It will stretch quite a bit when filled with delicious fresh produce.
The gauge for this pattern is not important; make it as large or as small as you would like. :)
This bag took about 2 skeins of Peaches & Creme Cotton in Burgundy (120 yards per skein).
Let me know if you have any questions!
