Materials Needed:
85-90 yards of #4 worsted weight Lily Sugar ‘n Cream yarn in Wine, Rose Coral, Pretty in Pink, White, Hot Green, Cream
5 yards Red Heart Scrubby yarn in “Duckie”, or Red Heart Scrubby Cotton in “Lemony”
5.5mm (I) hook
Scissors
Yarn needle
Stitch markers
Optional: drop of your favorite essential oil
Stitches Used:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
FPdc = front post double crochet
BPsc = back post single crochet
BPhdc = back post half double crochet
3dc cluster = dc3tog in same stitch
4dc cluster = dc4tog in same stitch
Additional Terms:
Working in the 3rd loop of hdc: Look at the top of the stitch, and locate the sideways “V”, bend the stitch to look at the back, and you should see another “V”. You’ll be working into the back loop of that “V”, this is called the 3rd loop.
Shell = 5 dc in same stitch
Large shell = 6 dc in same stitch
st/sts = stitch/stitches
sp/sps = space/spaces
prev = previous
Gauge:
Gauge is unimportant.
Measurements:
9 1/2” across
Additional Notes:
-Ch-1 at beginning of round does not count as a stitch.
-It is possible to turn these into hot pads for your table! Just don’t use the regular Red Heart Scrubby since it is synthetic and will melt. Use the 100% cotton Red Heart Scrubby yarn, or use plain yellow Sugar ‘n Cream cotton yarn instead.
