There are many ways to construct a transformable bag. By adding zippers on both sides this medium-large size bag can turn from the day-to-day tote into a practical wide travel bag. And the best of all you can crochet it yourself. This pattern will give you the necessary tools like written instructions row by row, detailed images and schemes with measurements so you can make make this model from beginning to end yourself.

This design was made with #18 twisted nylon cord, this you can find in some yarn stores. If you don’t, try searching haberdasheries, notions and craft supplies stores. This material is good for bags because it has great resistance and durability.

You can also crochet it with t-shirt yarn, cotton, wool or others.
