Zipper Stripe Potholders
Round double-layered potholders with cute linen stitch zipper stripes. Soft and supple, work well in the kitchen. Quick and fairly easy to do. Only a few ends to weave in, as yarn is brought up along the back.
Instructions included for special join, but not for magic loop and invisible fasten off (Google is your friend). Also, only minimal instruction for regular dc circle that makes up the back side.
Use any fingering/sports weight cotton yarn. For a set of two potholders you’ll need about a skein of the main color and about a third of a skein for the contrasting color. You’re aiming for a fabric that is soft, not stiff, so you might need to go up a hook size from the recommend size on you yarn label. I used a 3.5 mm (US E/4) hook.
Feel free to gift or sell your finished projects as you please. Selling potholders online requires a link back to my Ravelry Store.
Enjoy :)
