The “Zobnica Firule Hat” is a stranded color work design inspired by “zobnica” feed bags from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina using an 24-stitch repeat pattern and 2+ colors. (Stash busting is perfectly acceptable!)

Size: Small/Medium Adult (should fit a 21.5” + head)

SUPPLIES NEEDED

• Yarn: Madame Trichot Paris 200 or any worsted weight yarn (100 g (3.5 oz) /200 m (218 yd) - 1 skein of each color (you’ll have yarn left over)
• Needles: 3.25mm—3.75mm circular or DPNs
• Pack of cards, cardboard or item of choice for making tassels (optional)
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• Yarn needle

For Adult size S/M cast on 120 (24 st x5) using 3.75mm (US 5)
For Children’s size cast on 96 (24 x 4) using 4mm (US 6)

Gauge: 23 sts x 26 rows after steam-blocking the stranded project (chart included in .pdf)
