Zoe is a crochet hat with a slightly slouchy form, made from a classical granny square.

I love the retro feel about granny stitches, and I thought I can make my own version in a more contemporary style. It starts off with a typical granny square on the top of the hat with a 3-color alteration. Then it continues with the main color for the body, and ends with stripes in all the 3 colors.

This hat takes only a couple of hours to finish, and it’s so pretty - instant gratification! I loved the result so much, I made several others with different color alterations.

Correction:

Round 2. sl into next sp, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2 in same sp. 3 dc, ch 2 x 2 in next sp. Repeat * - * 2 more times. Join with CC1 in beg. ch - 24 dcs
