This pattern is available from amazon.com for $7.99.

The stacked chevron lace stitch mirrors the structure of the Zoisite gemstone (aka Tanzanite): jagged and seemingly fragile, yet surprisingly strong and graceful. It’ll pair well with any outfit, whether it’s a jeans-and-tee combo or an elegant little black dress.

This fingering-weight shawl is a sideway-knit asymmetrical shawl with increases placed along one edge, and two-stitch garter borders on both edges.

Both written and charted instructions are included. Glossary included. The main lace pattern is written out in entirety. For the advanced knitters, simplified written instructions are included.

Currently available via Amazon; KU subscribers at this time can download this for free.

Notes from the designer:

I was able to knit the pictured shawl with only one hank of yarn (100g, 400 yds) with aggressive blocking. If you are using acrylic or a non-stretchy blend of yarn, you will need extra yarn. If you’re not comfortable playing “yarn chicken” or aggressively blocking, play it safe and grab an extra 50g of yarn. If you’d like to knit a bigger shawl, grab an extra 50g or two. I’ve indicated where in the pattern you can repeat a section for a larger shawl.
