This pattern is a step by step written guide to making a zombie hat in any size you desire. The toddler through XL adult sizes also have the option to make a detachable lower jaw. The pattern does not include a lower jaw for the baby size as I fear it would not be safe since the jaw rests against the mouth or hangs down by the neck. The instructions for the facial features are included of course. Some are optional such as the lower jaw and the bloody mouth.

The yarn I use for this pattern as follows:
1 skein I Love This Yarn - light sage (base of hat)
1 skein Yarn Bee Boucle Tradition - cranberry mix (for blood)
Scraps of white, black and red for the eyes
Scraps of gray for the teeth
Optional - 2 buttons size 1 to 1 1/2” diameter (for lower jaw)

The eyes and teeth take such a small amount of yarn, I just use whatever brand of scraps I have available but always use size 4 worsted weight.
