This is an original knit pattern that developed from a request from my husband for fingerless gloves, with pockets. He wanted something fun, where he could keep small items on the go—incognito, “like a superhero!”

I started working up the pattern with a skein of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted in their Zombie BBQ colorway, and that’s how the Zombie Superhero Mitts were born!

The pockets are worked in pattern (no need for seaming) and they’re the perfect size for carrying small items such as keys, movie tickets, or your iPod Nano and a pair of earbuds.
