Use up leftovers or a pile of mini skeins, make an ombre or fade, combine different yarn fibers, weights and types — whatever you like!

This hat goes super fast, perfect for gifting.

Many combinations of weights and bases are possible — mix it up, use your stash, and share the woolens!

NOTA BENE

  • The Left and Right Ear Flaps are shaped using short rows.
  • Because this pattern works the short rows above the garter stitch edging, you do not have to pick up the wraps. Ignore the wraps when you come to them and work the wrapped stitch normally.
  • Multiple sizes, multiple yarn options — stripes, marled, ombre, fade, solid. It’s all possible!
