This is written sized to my own feet -- Ladies size 10 with a high instep, average width. I got tired of hunting around looking for notes written on odd scraps of paper every time I wanted to make something similar. I thought I’d share it with everyone, modifications can easily be made to customize it to your own feet.

This uses a simple 2X2 rib. Every now and then you need a pattern that you don’t have to think about -- when you’re with friends, online in a Zoom meeting, watching TV -- anywhere you don’t want to have to pay particular attention to the construction. It would be easy to make substitutions to the stitch pattern since there are many 4 stitch patterns available in many stitch dictionaries, or even work it in stockinette.

The simple construction works well with very busy yarns.
