The heel is worked as an increase heel with a heel flap wedge and a heel turn wedge in reverse stockinette stitch.

In this instruction, you work the socks with the Magic Loop method. You might as well work the socks on dpns, a short circular needle or any other needle system of your choice.

When working the socks on dpns, divide the sts evenly on 4 needles. 1st needle in the instruction is 1st and 2nd dpn, 2nd needle in the instruction is 3rd and 4th dpn.

Knit a gauge swatch first and adjust the needle size if necessary.

Gauge: 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch in rounds =
21 sts x 27 rounds on needle 3,5 mm.

Keep in mind that a gauge swatch worked in rounds is worked differently to a gauge swatch worked in rows.

Supplies: Smooth scrap yarn (e.g. cotton) with same weight as working yarn, approx. 1 m long, measuring tape, scissors, stitch markers, wool needle.

Zoora Socks Chunky by Rike Pacholleck

Die Zoora Socks Chunky werden vom Bündchen zur Spitze gestrickt, haben eine wundervoll reduzierte Optik und passen sich dem Fuß perfekt an. Die Ferse wird als Zunahmeferse mit einem Fersenwandkeil und Fersentrittkeil aus linken Maschen gearbeitet. Der Oberfuß wird anschließend weiterhin im Rippenmuster, der Unterfuß glatt links gestrickt. Die Spitze wird mit nach rechts und links geneigten Abnahmen gearbeitet.
Gestrickt werden die Zoora Socks Chunky aus 6-fädigem Sockengarn.

Du kannst die Socken auch mit einem Nadelspiel, einer kurzen Rundnadel oder jedem anderen Nadelsystem deiner Wahl stricken.

Strickst du mit einem Nadelspiel, dann verteile die Maschen gleichmäßig auf 4 Nadeln. Nd 1 der Anleitung entspricht Nd 1 und 2, Nd 2 dementsprechend Nd 3 und 4.

Stricke zuerst eine Maschenprobe und passe die Nadelstärke gegebenenfalls an.

Bitte beachte, dass sich Maschenproben in Runden von Maschenproben in Reihen unterscheiden.
