This crescent shaped shawl is worked in a mix of garter stripes and short-row wedges to create a fun interplay of two contrasting colours.
The tassels at the tips add an eye-catching element to highlight one of the colours.

YARN
Designed for fingering weight yarn in 2 contrasting colours. Allow approx. 384 m /420 yds of each colour to get the size of the sample.
Yarn used for sample:
Malabrigo Mechita (fingering weight, 100 g = 384 m/420 yds), 1 skein each in colourways Paprika (colour A) and Natural (colour B)

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Not critical for this project but differences will affect yardage requirements and the finished size.
Gauge on sample: 19 sts x 38 rows = 10x10 cm / 4x4“ in garter stitch after blocking
Needles used for sample: 4 mm / US 6
