Zottie is a fantasy creature that was the inspiration for our February 2022 color story. Together with the colorway “Lichtergarten” I knitted this stripe pattern with small prongs that imitated the shaggy fur of Zottie. Since then I had the idea to use these shaggy stripes for a pair of socks. Thus, the Zottie socks were born.

The instructions are written for our sockyarn sets “DoubleFun”. The two colourways of the skeins make the Zottie pattern a little blurry in some places.

Zottie ist ein Fantasiewesen, welches für unsere Farbgeschichte im Februar 2022 Pate stand. Zusammen mit der Färbung „Lichtergarten“ strickte ich dieses Streifenmuster mit kleinen Zacken, die das Zottelfell Zotties nachahmten. Seither hatte ich die Idee diese Zottelstreifen für ein Paar Socken zu verwenden. So waren die Zottie-Socken geboren.

Die Anleitung ist für unsere Sockenwoll Sets “DoubleFun” geschrieben. Die darin enthaltenen Färbungen sorgen dafür, dass das Zottiemuster an manchen Stellen etwas verschwimmt.
