Zouave Jacket from 1862
This jacket was originally featured in Godey’s Magazine, in 1862. It is worked by doing a single crochet in the back loop, which creates a very elastic rib, almost similar to knitting. While smaller in size, it stretches easily, and is meant to be form fitting.
There are notes on adjusting the size based on waist and bust measurements. You can also make the sleeve longer if you wish. I hope you enjoy the pattern!
Happy crocheting
~ Jamie
