Wie der Name erahnen lässt, entsteht das Streifenmuster, das für Wellen am Strand steht, zufällig – leg Dir einen Würfel bereit!

Die Jacke wird mit einem großen Farbverlaufsknäuel in einem Stück rundherum gestrickt. Dadurch kommt der Farbverlauf vollständig zur Geltung. Er zieht sich vom Vorderteil über den Ärmel, den Rücken, den zweiten Ärmel bis zum zweiten Vorderteil. Erreicht wird dieser Effekt durch den Einsatz von vielen verkürzten Reihen.

Die Jacke hat eine ausgestellte Form und passt dadurch auch gut bei breiteren Hüften.

Länge der Jacke ca. 76 cm.

Benötigt werden:

• Ca. 2000m eines 5-fädigen Farbverlaufsgarns, z.B. Picco Peppermint von Wollium (LL ca. 300m / 100g)
• Rundstricknadel der Stärke 3,5, Länge mindestens 80 cm
• 6 Maschenmarkierer in verschiedenen Farben
• Zwei Hilfsnadeln zum Stilllegen von Maschen
• Ein Würfel

Die Anleitung enthält schriftliche Beschreibungen Reihe für Reihe, eine Schemazeichnung der Jacke und Größentabellen zum Anpassen an andere Größen.

„Zufall“ is German for random. The stripe pattern is developed randomly, just use a dice.

The cardigan is worked sideways all around your body, from the first front part to the first sleeve, to the back, to the second sleeve and finally to the second front part. You can use a big skein of a gradient yarn and knit without any cuts. This is accomplished by working many, many short rows. If you don‘t know them yet you find a description at the end.

The cardigan has an A-line shape but you can skip some rows and create a straight line, if you prefer.

Length ca. 30‘‘ (76 cm).

You need:

• Ca. 2190 ys (2000m) of a gradient yarn of fingering weight, e.g. Picco Peppermint 5-fädig (5ply) by Wollium (ca. 328 ys (300m) / 100g)
• Circular knitting needle of size US 4 (3.5mm), length ca. 30‘‘ (80 cm)
• 6 markers in different colors
• 2 stitchholders
• a dice

The pattern consists of written instructions row by row, a schematic of the cardigan and tables of sizes to make it easy to adjust to other sizes.
