This is a sock using a small scale lace pattern which can be remembered easily, making this a fast sock to knit.

The instructions are written for a woman’s average foot but the pattern repeat has only 4 stitches, so it can be adapted to different sizes.

I think the stitch pattern looks best unblocked, giving it a little texture. This means that gauge was measured stretching the garment a little.

Do not be discouraged if it looks different in your knitting and feel free to adapt anything.

Just use your normal tools for knitting socks and choose a solid or mildly variegated yarn to make the pattern stand out nicely.

I recommend 4-ply sock yarn. You will need not more than 100g.
