This hat is for the computer geek old enough to remember the ZX Spektrum :-)

The hat is worked flat because of the diagonal intarsia stripes and seamed at the end.

You can use whatever yarn you’d like - the pattern describes how to use a gauge swatch to determine what number of sts to cast on.

There are directions for making it a tight fitting hat OR a slouchier hat like the one in the photo.

All techniques are described and have links to videos.
