SKILLS
To knit this sweater you need to know how to
knit and purl, knit in the round, cast on stitches
with any method (although the long-tail cast-on
is recommended), make increases by knitting on
the same stitch twice and with the “make one
away” technique (the one most commonly used
to cast on stitches at the underarm, also known
as the backwards loop method), pick up stitches,
make decreases, knit fair isle colourwork, and to
bind off stitches. You also need to know how to
perform an i-cord bind-off. Moreover, it is essential
to be able to follow charted instructions, as
they are used for the colourwork detail of the
yoke and written instructions are not provided.

CONSTRUCTION
This sweater is knit top-down, i.e., it is started
to knit at the neckline, and then you will knit the
yoke, shaping it with raglan increases, separate
sleeves from body, and continue knitting the body
in the round. Then the resting sleeve stitches are
placed back on the needles and the sleeves are
knit in the round to the cuff. It is worked seamlessly,
all in one piece. It is worked in stockinette
stitch with a colourwork section at the yoke. The
body and the sleeves are finished with a ribbing.
At the end, stitches are picked up and an i-cord
is worked along the neckline.

The colourways used are the Pink Bliss 199 as
Colour 1, the Carbon 159 as Colour 2, the Clay
177 as Colour 3, the Turquoise 202 as Colour 4,
the Ginger 154 as Colour 5, and the French Mustard
216 as Colour 6 for the navy version, and
the Stone 190 as Colour 1, the Ancient 172 as
Colour 2, the French Mustard 216 as Colour 3,
the Ginger 154 as Colour 4, the Frozen 185 as
Colour 5, and the Pink Bliss 199 as Colour 6 for
the dark green version.

NEEDLES
3.5 mm US 4 circular needles with a cable length
of 40 cm 16” for the neckband and yoke and
80 cm 32” for the body, or the required needle
size to obtain gauge (without blocking). Needles
one size smaller to work the i-cord finishing at
the neckline.

OTHER NOTIONS
1 stitch marker for the beginning of the round. 4
different stitch markers for the raglan increases.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.

NOCIONES PREVIAS
Para tejer este jersey es necesario saber tejer
punto del derecho y del revés, tejer en circular,
montar puntos mediante cualquier método, aunque
se recomienda el de la hebra larga; realizar
aumentos tejiendo puntos por delante y por detrás,
realizar aumentos al aire para las sisas, remontar
y retomar puntos, realizar disminuciones,
la técnica del fair isle o colourwork y cerrar puntos.
También es necesario saber realizar un remate
en i-cord. Es imprescindible saber leer gráficos,
ya que las instrucciones para tejer el detalle en
colourwork del canesú se dan únicamente en forma
de gráfico.

CONSTRUCCIÓN
Este jersey tiene una construcción top-down, es decir
se empieza tejiendo por el escote, se continúa
por el canesú realizando aumentos en el raglán, se
separan mangas y cuerpo, y se continúa tejiendo
el cuerpo en circular. A continuación, se retoman
las mangas y se tejen en circular hasta el puño.Se
realiza de una sola pieza, sin ninguna costura. Se
teje en punto del derecho y punto del revés, con
un detalle en colorwork en el canesú. El cuerpo y
las mangas acaban con un remate en punto elástico.
Finalmente, se levantan puntos y se realiza un
remate en i-cord a lo largo del escote.
