I love Christmas! When I was a little girl, my mom always made the holidays extra special. We decorated every square inch of our house. We had fun traditions like going to see the Nutcracker every year. We always had wonderful presents and a delicious meal on Christmas day itself.

Now that I have my own children I find myself doing what I can to make Christmas extra special for them, just like I remember. One of the things I like to do for the holidays is make an ornament or two each year, since I get to put my love into every stitch. Decorating our tree feels so much more special to me when I unwrap handmade ornaments from our Christmas boxes. It’s like the memories of each Christmas when I made an item come flooding back when I hold an ornament in my hands. I have put together this little collection so that you can share in the joy of creating for the holidays, too.
