Welcome the Boos for Beginners Collection. This collection consists of a series of patterns designed for those wishing to try lace or for those not overly confident using finer yarns.
Lace knitting is not scary; it is merely knitting with increases and decreases that create a pattern of holes in your fabric. Often lace is knit with a finer yarn but not tiny needles. This creates a light and airy fabric that, once blocked, looks intricate and pretty. It is so much easier than you think it will be!
It should be stressed that this is not a series of lessons, a knitting course or instruction manual, there are plenty of knitting encyclopedias out there and YouTube has some wonderful videos for you to learn new techniques. This is a series of shawl patterns that, when you knit the shawls in release order, will take you on a journey starting with an amazingly simple little shawl, moving step by step to more adventurous patterns until the end of the collection when you will feel happy and confident enough to tackle any of my other patterns.
Buying the Collection will afford a significant saving compared to buying the patterns individually and it should be pointed out that at least one of the patterns will be strictly exclusive to the collection and will never be offered as an individual pattern or patterns. No refunds can be given for buying the patterns separately and then, at a later date, purchasing the complete eBook. If you have made a single pattern purchase in error and wished to purchase the book instead, please contact me within a week to resolve the issue. Patterns will be added to the Collection as they become available and all updates will be sent automatically.
Patterns already set up by KnitCompanion can be purchased, in the KnitCompanion Store, for knitters who like to use KnitCompanion, but prefer to have their charts already set up.
