This design is made in regular crochet technique, worked in rounds, from the center out.

photo-tutorial for each round
video-tutorial on YouTube with all the rounds and stitches
photo-tutorial for all special stitches

My sample christmas bauble measures 3”. I used Aunt Lydia or Twister Solid yarns with a 2mm hook.

You need plastic or styrofoam balls to fill in the baubles. It is also possible to use water balloons and glue/starch to stiffen the baubles (no tutorial).
