The pattern gives directions for Aran, Worsted and Sport-weight yarns; however, knitters may really use any yarn (with needles that give you a texture that you like) to provide a vast variety of scarves from just this one pattern.

Between the 9 widths, 2 lengths and 3 yarn weights, 22 different sizes are included in this pattern.

Directions are also provided for adjusting the width of the scarf making the possibilities endless!

Update: Nov. 2015 (V1.1): Errata Note - the yardage listed for the Worsted size 6” / 15cm width is incorrect; it should read 135(270)yds / 124(247)m.
