The Cozy Days Collection is a collection of three complimentary patterns celebrating the winter season.

The first design is a simple cowl knit flat and then seamed together in the end. The design features a very delicate striping effect that is established by alternating mohair and fingering weight yarn. A large lace section has been added to break up the mindless knitting and to add some interest. The lace pattern resembles snowflakes and adds character to this otherwise dreamy looking fabric. The cowl is flanked by an i-cord edging with yarn overs and a center decrease to give it some shape.

Then we have a simple headband that is worked flat with the same snowflake stitch pattern. The headband uses an I-cord cast-on to create a buttonhole and to frame the edges. The headband comes in one width, but the length is easily adjusted to fit various head sizes. Knit with mohair and fingering held double; it creates a very cozy fabric.

Lastly, we have the mittens. A deliciously cozy pair of lined mittens. Knit as one solid mitten - the liner is knit using mohair held double and a larger. The lacey mitten is worked over top. Cozy mohair makes up the mitten liner and can add a fun pop of colour that peeks through the sweet little snowflakes that dance on top.
