U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was known for her dissenting opinions. When she read a dissent, she often wore a particular collar, or “jabot.” It’s a striking visual adornment and as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to design a yoke sweater inspired by it.

There are now three patterns in this series, a worsted weight cardigan (Dissent), a fingering weight pullover (Dissent Pullover), and a hat (Dissent Toque).

Here’s to Justice Ginsburg. May her memory be a blessing.
