Welcome to the magic world of The Oak Folk…
Many of you may have knitted, or had someone knitting, clothes for your dolls during your childhood…wasn’t that wonderful?!
For those who are starting their knitting journey, these little pieces are great for practice, because the same techniques are used as on the baby size pieces and everything is knitted flat. So not only this is a toy for babies and kids, but also a powerful learning tool for knitting beginners as well.

PATTERNS INFORMATIONS:
CALENDULA CARDIGAN FOR THE OAK FOLK:
This little cardigan is a top down model, with raglan increases. The sleeves are knitted flat and then sewed.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 75m
- Needle size: - 3mm (US 2.5) and 3,5mm (US4) straight or circular needles
- Knitting techniques used: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases, picking up stitches.
- Languages: English and Portuguese
FALL DUO ROMPER FOR THE OAK FOLK:
This tiny romper is knitted flat in two pieces. The leg ribs are knitted at the end, by picking up the stitches on the leg opening.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 50m
- Needles: - 3,5mm (US4) straight or circular needles
- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases, picking up stitches.
- Languages: English and Portuguese
DARCY BONNET FOR THE OAK FOLK:
This cute bonnet is knitted flat in garter stitch and then sewed on the back.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 24 stitches x 48 rows = 10cm / 4” in garter stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 40m
- Needles: - 3,5mm (US4) straight or circular needles
- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases
- Languages: English and Portuguese
DARCY BOOTIES FOR THE OAK FOLK:
This tiny booties are knitted flat in garter stitch and then sewed on the back.
- Experience level: Advanced Beginner
- Yarn: DK weight yarn
- Tension: 24 stitches x 48 rows = 10cm / 4” in garter stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
- Yardage: approx. 50m
- Needles: - 3,5mm (US4) straight or circular needles Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases
- Languages: English and Portuguese
