This e-book is one of my 5 e-books with projects in Overlay Crochet technique: E-Book No. 2 - practical helpers.
Overlay Crochet is deeply rooted in cable and Aran crochet. It creates effects that can only with difficulty be made with traditional techniques. You have symmetrical patterns overlaid with different floral, linear or geometrical patterns as you may find on traditional mosaics, tiles or even mandalas.
The e-book No. 2 - practical helpers consist of 3 patterns:
Beasket
Case
Pincushion
I used following yarns and hooks to crochet the 3 projects:
DK, light worsted weight yarn and hook US 6/4 mm for the basket.
Fingering weight yarn and hook 3 mm for the pincushion.
Fingering weight yarn and hook 2.5 mm for the case.
The patterns are featured with detailed instructions. Each round of the projects will be explained through a written instruction and one or more pictures (37 pages).
The patterns contain comprehensive informations on supplies, abbreviation keys, stitch dictionary, stitch count and extra notes to help explain the process.
