Elemental is a special collection of Hats featuring short row colourwork knitted sideways. Inspired by Nickelodeon’s Avatar - The Last Air Bender and The Legend of Korra - these Hats explore the 5 elements through yarn bending.

A new grafting technique has been developed to allow the knitter to create a perfect finish across two or more colours. Detailed photographic tutorials are included, and online support will be available through the Ravelry forums via specific discussion threads.

Due to their construction, each of the patterns in this collection are graded through gauge and/or needle size. The instructions are provided in written format and as a panel map - a directional chart - that helps guide you through the short rows, clearly indicating the direction of knitting and stitch counts.
