My Enchanted Flower Fairies collection was inspired by my memories of reading stories by Enid Blyton and how I imagined fairies at the bottom of the garden would look.
There are five flower fairies in this collection:
Sugar Plum Fairy,
Rose Flower Fairy
Daisy Flower Fairy,
Faraway Tree Fairy
Forget-me-not Flower Fairy
Each of them are very different. There are five different fairy wings, 3 different hats, and 5 different dresses. Their hats are sewn on and shoes and legs knitted all in one.
For hair I used a very thick wavy yarn by Yarn Bee I bought in America but any similar twisted chunky yarn would work well.
Sugar Plums outfit is made in two pieces as a top and skirt and can be left in two pieces or joined as I did to make the dress.
I have not included information or diagrams on knitting stitches as this is readily available in books / magazines, online and via Youtube.
I think my patterns are not difficult and are suitable for people with some knitting experience and a regular knitting tension.
I hope you enjoy knitting them but please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
