Everyday Dresses includes three patterns with many different garment possibilities, so you can keep your little girl in knits year-round. The patterns work just as beautifully in cotton as they do in wool, and the tunic lengths are perfect for layering. Each design includes instructions for tunic and dress-lengths, and Midsummer Meadow and Tinsel Tree include additional options for customization.
The first dress in the collection is Midsummer Meadow, a bottom-up frock with a folded bottom hem and dandelions, my daughter’s first favorite flower, adorning the skirt and yoke. (Publication date: May 18th). This pattern includes options for both a sleeveless and a cap sleeve version.
Next up is Sweetbriar Surplice, a darling top-down dress with a hobnail-textured yoke that recalls vintage milk glass and a knitted-on lace edging at the skirt hem. (Publication date: June 2015)
Tinsel Tree, a tunic or dress for cooler weather, finishes the collection. It includes optional long sleeves made to look like a faux second layer and a snuggly waterfall collar. (Publication Date: early November 2015)
