A UNIQUE and lovely accessory set of ear warmer, hat, cowl, and fingerless gloves. Now also including the ear warmer.
A fun and different project. Seamless. Worked in rounds. Based on a waistcoat stitch pattern - ‘Little Flames’ - which adds a nice texture to the items and also has a wonderful drape and stretchiness.
The patterns are in US terms (or Danish). It includes supportive charts and a few photos.
Yarn. Soft airy yarn with yardage around 105m/50gr (115y/1.76oz). I used 6 balls of Scheepjes Merino Soft (Brush). Scheepjes Merino Soft is airy and soft and a little elastic.
Hook. 8mm (US L/11, UK 0).
Skills needed. You need to know the basic stitches and to make even stitches. Everything else is explained.
Sizes: Adult S, M & L, but stretchy, so one size fits more people and some kids will be able to use size S. Otherwise the patterns can be made with a smaller hook. For small gloves child-size 5-year-old, I used a hook size 5mm and yarn with yardage 175m/50gr.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ NOTE. The ear warmer is available for FREE, so you can try this before you buy the whole set. And the gloves can be bought separately.
