Our key aims:
• To find, record and conserve gansey patterns from around the Moray Firth coast.
• To pass on the skills to a new generation
• To increase local income generation, training and employment

Our booklet “Fishing for Ganseys” gives an outline of the project’s research findings, with lots of stories, photos and charts of the stitch variations we came across in the Moray Firth area, plus a gansey pattern and links to other research.

The leaflet is available from the website for a donation of £4 plus postage
