Get Knitting (written in ‘gold’, with the stroke of the ‘t’ extending to above the second letter ‘n’ in the word ‘knitting’).

Patterns were obtained in parts, fortnightly in a paper envelope with a Knitting Guide and various patterns.

The patterns can be stored in up to three boxes.

EXAMPLES, Up to 4 boxes and 2 A4 folders were filled with 600+ patterns and 52 knitting guides:

1. 52 magazines (called Knitting Guides) in 2 binders (1-26 & 27-52). Each magazine is held in place by a strap/string which sits in the centre pages.

2. Patterns associated with each guide, using the knitting techniques highlighted in that issue.

There are over 600 patterns in 4 storage boxes in the following categories:

Size of leaflets: 211 mm x 148 mm.
Card has a 12 mm band on the left side coloured to match the category (see above), the category is printed vertically in this band with the name of the pattern following.

There are skeins on the top left to indicate the difficulty rating. One skein is easy to 3 skeins advanced.

Cards were filed into up to four blue striped boxes. The more patterns that were collected/subscribed to, the more boxes were required.
