Synopsis: A knitting Hat book with a difference! 24 contemporary designs using the sideways construction method. Knitted on straight needles using short rows for shaping and provisional cast-on & kitchener stitch for a professional, seam free finish.
Each Hat pattern is sized with 3 adult sizes, S (18/19”), M (20/21”) and L (22/23”). All patterns are provided in both written and charted format.
Full colour, detailed tutorials are included, of which 8 are for kitchener stitch, including garter stitch kitchener. This book is aimed at intermediate level knitters and a reasonable level of knitting skill is required. In these patterns, row gauge rather than stitch gauge is the important factor.
The ideal book for any knitter who loathes DPN’s or working in the round, who loves unique, well fitting Hats or who enjoys exploring new and different techniques!
Errata: A few minor errors were found in the early editions of the book. These can be found with the relevant pattern and on WW’s website. All errors were corrected as they were found, so new editions of the book are error free.
